Ian's School Christmas Show

Ian at his Christmas Show! We were so proud of him!

Afterwards he got see Santa, but confided in us that he was just a fake Santa. Little kids are pretty smart....or we're just stupid to think we can fool them.

Zippy the Elf - Day 13

Zippy is so crazy!

Zippy the Elf - Day 12

Zippy did some exploring the other night...

and got himself into a ...well....microwave oven.

Zippy the Elf - Day 10

Zippy made a fort, but it was a little to small for Ian to fit. Also, Mommy needs to do some dusting!

Zippy the Elf - Day 6

Zippy got into some trouble last night. Looks like he must have been feeling a little homesick.

According to Ian, "Zippy must have tied the rope to the light, climbed up to the cabinet to where the flour is and carried it down to the kitchen table!"

And yes, Ian tasted the flour to find out what it was. It wasn't sugar! ZIPPY!

Zippy the Elf - Day 5

Ian has been really busy and Zippy has been lonely for a playmate...

So, can you guess what Zippy is hiding?

And where is he hiding it?

Only Zippy knows...

Okay, we'll tell ya! The tree lights are in Zippy's shorts.

Zippy the Elf - Day 4

Can you find Zippy?

THERE he is! Sneaky little fella!

Zippy the Elf - Day 2

Zippy tries to make a healthy breakfast for Ian.

Can you find what's wrong with this picture?

Ian: "Zippy! You can't eat cereal with a fork!"
Of course he doesn't mention that the fork is bigger than Zippy's head.

Zippy the Elf - Day 1

Ian receives a letter from Santa:

Dear Ian,

You are such a good boy and because you have been so good for the past four years, I am sending you a special friend to spend the Christmas season with you. He is one of my very special elves and his name is Zippy. He reports back to me all the good things you do for other people. Christmas is not only about what presents you get, but it’s also about what YOU give to others too. I have a list and I will check it twice before I bring presents to your house, so continue to be a good boy.

As for Zippy, my Polar Express Mail Delivery Service will be delivering Zippy tonight while you are sleeping. Be sure to check outside for your package when you wake up in the morning and open it quickly. Zippy will need air to breath, so get him out of the box quickly.

Now, about Zippy. Because he is one of my magic elves, he only comes to life at night when no one can see him. When everyone is awake, he doesn’t seem like he’s alive, and maybe he appears to be a doll, but I assure you he can see and hear everything you do, and he tells me every day all the fun things you do and what a good boy you’ve been. One thing you need to aware of: Zippy is a very mischievous elf. He gets into a lot of trouble up here at the North Pole, which is part of the reason I’m sending him to you. Since you are such a good boy, I want you, Ian, to be a good example for Zippy so he can learn how to be a good elf boy.

Ian, I understand that you think I won’t bring you presents this year. Well, as long as you keep being a good boy by doing what your mommy and daddy and teachers ask and teaching Zippy how to behave, I will surely bring you presents, so don’t worry about that. I am proud of you and look forward to coming to your house on Christmas Eve and receiving my dear elf Zippy back with new manners and good behavior.

Sincerely and Merry Christmas,

Santa Claus

Ian finds his delivery from Santa which was promised in a special letter sent by Santa himself:

I

"It's from Santa! The Polar express brought it last night!"

Zippy the Elf makes his big debut. The first thing he wants to do is have candy for breakfast, but Ian knows better and tells Zippy he has to eat a healthy breakfast before he can have candy.
